Inspired by a poem by Leigh Hunt (1784-1859), Rachel wanted to capture the bold beauty of one of her favourite British wildflowers. Poppies have featured in her Moorcroft design career for over ten years, with her 1997 Poppy range and prestige vase being amongst the most famous. In recent times, the use of this vibrant flower has culminated in Rachel’s Collectors’ Days series, with Fallowfield in 2005 and Helen in 2006.

Moorcroft Collectors’ Days are always enjoyable and are a wonderful opportunity to meet Rachel. Not since 1997 has Rachel undertaken a solo tour of the UK, and her Crowning Glory tour will be an occasion not to be missed. Rachel will sign all purchases made on the day at events in gold ink, as a special reminder of the day.
